Albany Technical College offers a welding diploma program where you will learn all of the common welding processes including SMAW, GMAW and GTAW. Plate and pipe welding are covered on a variety of different base metals like aluminum. In addition to hand on welding training you will have in class learning about blueprint reading and welding theory. You can veiw a brochure about the welding program here.
Gwinnett Technical College offers a welding diploma program and several certificate classes. They cover stick welding, MIG, TIG and Flux Cored Arc Welding processes. This school also offers on site welding certifications for AWS D1.1 Structural Steel.
Central Georgia Technical College offers hands on welding training with stick, MIG and TIG welding processes. You will learn how to pipe weld as well as structural plate welding. In the classroom you will learn about blueprint readings.
