Williston offers an Associate’s Degree welding program. What I really love about this school is that they prepare you and allow you to take to welding certifications. Having the AWS D1.1 (Structural Steel) and ASME Section IX (Pipe) welding certifications will open up a lot more doors for you and will also allow you to earn more money. An Associate’s Degree may not be very helpful to have as an entry level welder but it may pay off in the future if you want to move into management positions.
