This welding school offers two welding programs; general welding and pipe welding. If you are career minded you may want to take both programs. You will get hands on welding training using stick, MIG and TIG welding processes.

These classes are very affordable and when you take all three you will get a well rounded training. Each course is about 160 hours in length. They cover all of the common welding and metal cutting processes.

Davis Applied Technology College

Davis College has a 13 month welding program that covers all of the common welding processes including SMAW (Stick) ,GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG) and FCAW (Flux Cored). In addition to hands on welding training you will also take classes like blueprint reading and metallurgy.

What I love about this welding school is that they give you the opportunity to take two welding certification tests; AWS D1.1 SMAW and FCAW. The welding program is 900 hours and you can transfer to Utah Valley University to take a few other classes to earn an Associate’s Degree. In addition to learning plate and pipe welding you will gain hands on experience with thermal cutting processes, welding aluminum and stainless steel, blueprint reading and weld inspection.
