Associate Applied Science in Welding and Fabricating Technology
Basic Welding Skills Certificate
The associates degree welding program is great for those that are seeking a career as a welder. You will get hands on training with MIG, TIG and stick welding as well as oxy-fuel torch cutting and plasma cutting. In classroom learning will consist of welding theory, safety and blueprint reading.
If you are wanting a career as a welder then the Associate’s Degree program is the best choice for you. All of the major welding processes will be taught to you along with metal cutting. In addition to hands on welding training you will have classes about blueprint reading, metallurgy and welding theory.
The Associates Degree program is excellent for those seeking a solid start to their welding career. While attending this two year welding school you will learn a wide range of skills including plate welding and pipe welding. You will receive hands on welding training with Stick, MIG, FCAW, TIG and SAW (submerged arc welding). Learn about this program here.
This welding school offers a wide variety of certificate programs and also an Associate’s Degree welding program. They cover plate and pipe welding with all of the major welding processes including stick welding, MIG welding, Flux Cored welding and TIG welding. In addition to learning how to weld mild steel you will have the opportunity to weld more exotic base metals like aluminum and stainless steel.
