This welding school in Rhode Island is the most notable or at least career minded welding program that I can find in the state. They cover all the major welding processes including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). The class runs 210 hours long and also covers metal cutting and welding codes.

Sorry but I do not have any information about the welding program that they offer.
The Steel Yard
27 Sims Ave
Providence, RI 02909
Phone: (401) 273-7101
The Steel Yard is not really welding school but they do offer welding classes. They are very unique and offer some very cool classes and workshops that you can take that include a lot of “lost trades.” They offer blacksmithing, welding, jewelry and ceramic classes. If you have an interest in metal crafting, blade making or basic blacksmithing schools you should check them out. I wish I lived closer to them!
